The Corby transom (which inspired the logo) first appeared in 1995 on the 36ft Mustang Sally.  I schemed it up with Giovanni from SP Technologies using uni-directional fibres in tension across the top and in compression on the angles as a structural solution to stiffenning up the stern to oppose the immense backstay loads we expected.  Since then it has become an instantly recognisable, and quite popular, visual signature.
